The culture at Â鶹¹ÙÍø is more understanding than other colleges. They really want you to succeed and they do everything they can to make sure you do.
Â鶹¹ÙÍø is like a family. I know how that sounds, but that is genuinely how it feels. I am a mother of 2, so being somewhere that understands and works with you when you have so many responsibilities and hurdles to overcome makes the weight on your shoulders feel a bit lighter.
Here, I feel more included and understood.
I have a support system that I did not have before. I’ve been able to connect with people and establish lifelong friendships and I also joined TRIO, a very supportive community that gives you opportunities to take advantage of.
I feel like Â鶹¹ÙÍø took me out of my shell and helped me open myself to new opportunities and people. I would have never thought I would put myself out there to join programs like SGA and apply for fellowships like the Latino Policy Forum LEAD Fellowship which I was accepted for. Â鶹¹Ù꿉۪s faculty has helped me build confidence in myself and my capabilities. I am forever grateful to each and every one of them!
College is a big step toward your future, so if you want to have your best shot and get the best opportunity possible, Â鶹¹ÙÍø is the way to go.
