Information for Faculty and Advisors
The Academic Support Center (ASC) provides free, peer-led learning support for all Â鶹¹ÙÍø students.
Faculty and advisors play an important role in educating students about resources available to them. There are several ways that faculty and advisors can encourage students to utilize the peer-led learning support available to all Â鶹¹ÙÍø students:
- Faculty can decide to include the ASC information that is included in the Â鶹¹ÙÍø syllabus template for their college (,, and ).
- Faculty and advisors can raise Tutoring Referrals for undergraduate students in , during the scheduled progress surveys or any time they feel a student would benefit from learning support
- Faculty and advisors can talk to students about the benefits of working with a tutor
